7.3.08: New program development activities are underway in support of two new BIPAI Centers of Excellence in Tanzania. One Center of Excellence will be located in Mbeya at the Mbeya Referral Hospital, and the other will be in Mwanza at the Bugando Hospital. BIPAI is working closely with the Government of Tanzania and hospital officials in each site. Excellent laboratory infrastructure already is in place in these two sites, which make them ideal locations for the development of major pediatric clinical centers. Additional information will be posted on this site as soon as it is available.
